Once upon a dream, there was a man who loved travel and searched for a private oasis, a hidden treasure beneath white sand. He found the everlasting beauty of nature and called it The Shahrazad Camp. Shahrazad Camp was established in the year of 2006 in the glorious White Desert of Egypt. Our camp is approximately 20 kilometers from the town of Farafra. It has an exclusive and private route into the white desert leading to our Retro-Modern campsite. Shahrazad was successfully renovated, rebuilt, and re-opened on October 2022 dedicated to showcasing the whimsical beauty of the raw desert and bringing a luxurious experience tailored to our guests. Our one of a kind camp is built on 126,000 square meters of nature and extravagance.

The Moon (3 Available Only)

Just like the moon, this special tent has a spherical shape that resembles its name, our tents are a Master Bedroom with a King Size Bed, or Double Twin Size Bed, built-in bathrooms, hot and cold water for showers of your liking, and a luxurious lounge seated area.
We have 23 different themes to cater to our guests’ liking, with an assigned name of each tent that describes its décor:
1. Bohemian: (Double Room: Twin Bed 120 cm)
2. Cactus: (King Size Bed 180 cm)
3. Tree House: (King Size Bed 180 cm)

Just as we value our guests, we designed this original 6x6 sq. meter tent to stay true to its natural beauty. Our tents are a Master Bedroom with a King Size Bed, or Twin Size Bed, with built-in bathrooms, hot and cold water for showers of your liking, and a luxurious lounge seated area.
We have 10 different themes to cater to our guests’ liking, with an assigned name of each tent that describes its décor:

The Retreat (5 Available Only)

Just as any retreat, we have redefined a 3x3 sq. meter tent to tailor to our guests whom are more unified with nature more than an indoor stay. This tent has a single Full Size Bed, or a double Single Bed. The bathrooms are located in the sharing in the Main Tent.
